I forgot which book I quoted this from, but it mentioned it was taken off a prison wall somewhere. Talk about despair and event of a point of no return.

There is a lot more to life than being born, getting old, and then dying. There’s everything in between. That is what matters; that has got to count for something. What you do with it is what matters.
